The pictures for our community calendar got developed & they are so WHOLESOME - I had to share some of them here. 🤎✨ It is a perfect representation of what Wild Wavy Studio is all about - working out, working in and making connections.

We love embracing individuality and giving you the safe space to move in whichever way you want. Next to our standard classes we regularly host community events to strengthen this bond. Because we know how hard it can be to make new friends as an adult or as a student that just moved here. Thank you for being a part of this. Thank you for all the laughter, joy and kindness you spread with each other! 🫶

The studio has only been open for four months and we are blessed by how many movers found a second home here. I can't wait for our future together. 🥺💕

One of the things we get asked all the time is how to recover the best for pole & aerial. So we are happy to present to you our first workshop regarding cross training & recovery! 💫

If you love to move and want to learn how to better support your body during your pole and aerial journey, this workshop is for you! Whether you are a total beginner or have been training for years. In this workshop you will learn massage and breathing techniques that will support your recovery between classes and help prevent injuries.

Your teacher for the afternoon will be Kierty Verbooy, who has been a massage therapist for decades and because of his martial arts background has treated a lot of sports-related injuries throughout his life. Now that he supports both of his daughters and his wife who are all training pole and aerial, he has combined his knowledge of the physical body and eastern practices to put together this workshop to teach you how to take care of yourself during your pole and aerial journey.

No prior knowledge is needed, just your open and curious mind.

Don’t forget: growth happens during the resting phase!

Halloween is over and I hope you had a great time!🎃✨ Thank you @daphne_moguella for this amazing collage & help with the pictures. 🥰

The other pictures are being edited and/or developed! It was such a blast and fun time, thank you in general to everyone that came to our Halloween weekend. I can't wait for future movie nights and other events to come up. The next big one is our Photoshoop by @madebyemphoto on the 15th of November! At the end of this month we will have a recovery & massage workshop, we will have another arts & crafts community event (we will diy some tshirts!!), another movie night, and further down new workshops like hammock choreo and more to come. 🤸‍♀️🌈 I am so proud of our little community and the safe place we built in this little wyck corner. It truly is a second home for a lot of us. Sooo...who is ready for christmas season at the studio???❄️💕 Because I am!!!! Which traditions do you want to bring to the studio? An advent calendar, secret santa...??? Let me know!!🤔💞

Here are finally more details for our Halloween Events!!🦇✨
Please note that you do not have to sign up for the movie night or after party, they are open to all movers at the studio.🍿 Let us know in the comments or on WA which movie we should watch. 🎃

For our halloween shapes & photoshoot event we have limited spots so please book your ticket via Eversports. The event will be our first DONATION BASED event (which was something you actually suggested 🥺🖤) so the ticket does not cost you anything and you decide afterwards how much you want to/can contribute. We will have time to explore different tricks and moves on the pole, hoop, hammock & floor acrobatics and take pictures together - all in halloween spirit. It is open to all levels and you can obviously already prepare an outfit or pose of your choice. ❤️‍🔥

Sunday evening after Caroline's workshop we invite you to just celebrate together, chitchat, play some scary games and enjoy each other's company. 🤝

"This dance style allows you to express a more crazier and harder side of pole dance on heels and ranges from explosive and more abrupt movements to flips, drops and kips.
Perfect if you want to try something new and want to not only feel sexy and sensual but also strong and badass. Impress yourself with some cool tricks on and off the pole and learn a small choreo at the end with me. Make sure to bring good kneepads, preferably closed toe heels and water! Some experience on heels and/or pole is recommended, but feel free to ask if you're not sure!:)"
