SENSUAL HEELS POLE • level: walk and pirouette on heels

In this 1.5h Sensual Heels Pole workshop, we will explore the movement qualities that make heels pole dance sexy, sensual and expressive, how to utilise tension and release to sink into your body and feel your movement. I will teach you some combinations with elements such as body rolls, touch, gaze, legwork, basework, and how to texturise them to make them fit your own personal sensual persona. My goal for the end of this workshop is for you to discover a side of sexy pole that feels as good as it looks, and for you to explore what sensual expression means for you.

To wear: Heels, sexy outfit

SENSUAL SPIN POLE • level: climb, sit, invert, leg hang, walk and pirouette on heels

In this 1.5h Sensual Spin Pole workshop, we will explore how to make a spin pole combination more sexy and more stylized: how to elevate a climb, a sit, a figurehead, a leg hang, or any shape into a sensual dance. We will combine some low flow elements with an aerial combination, to create a spin pole sequence ready for the stage. The entire workshop will be danced in heels, though you are free to remove them when trying new moves.

To wear: Heels, sexy outfit, bare legs for grip

Meet Maria (she/her). ✨ Maria is joining our team from December onwards and we can't wait for her to bring in her dance experience. Fun fact, when I (Nina) was still studying, Maria was the president of our dance club. I am so glad I met you and that back then I got to give you an introduction to pole dance. 🥰 I am proud to say that all of our instructors at wild wavy are internationally certified and went through a lot of training to bring you safe, fun and unique classes of the highest possible quality.

We love embracing individuality and giving you the safe space to move in whichever way you want. Next to our standard classes we regularly host community events to strengthen this bond. One of the things we get asked all the time is how to recover the best for pole & aerial. So we are happy to present to you our first workshop regarding cross training & recovery! 💫

If you love to move and want to learn how to better support your body during your pole and aerial journey, this workshop is for you! Whether you are a total beginner or have been training for years. In this workshop you will learn massage and breathing techniques that will support your recovery between classes and help prevent injuries.

Your teacher for the afternoon will be Kierty Verbooy, who has been a massage therapist for decades and because of his martial arts background has treated a lot of sports-related injuries throughout his life. Now that he supports both of his daughters and his wife who are all training pole and aerial, he has combined his knowledge of the physical body and eastern practices to put together this workshop to teach you how to take care of yourself during your pole and aerial journey.

No prior knowledge is needed, just your open and curious mind.

Don’t forget: growth happens during the resting phase!

Halloween is over and I hope you had a great time!🎃✨ Thank you @daphne_moguella for this amazing collage & help with the pictures. 🥰

The other pictures are being edited and/or developed! It was such a blast and fun time, thank you in general to everyone that came to our Halloween weekend. I can't wait for future movie nights and other events to come up. The next big one is our Photoshoop by @madebyemphoto on the 15th of November! At the end of this month we will have a recovery & massage workshop, we will have another arts & crafts community event (we will diy some tshirts!!), another movie night, and further down new workshops like hammock choreo and more to come. 🤸‍♀️🌈 I am so proud of our little community and the safe place we built in this little wyck corner. It truly is a second home for a lot of us. Sooo...who is ready for christmas season at the studio???❄️💕 Because I am!!!! Which traditions do you want to bring to the studio?
