POLE DANCE
"Pole dancing isn't just a dance, it's an art form. It's a story told in movement, defying expectations and embracing individuality."
At Wild Wavy Studio we want to make sure that you can explore movement in any way or form you want. No matter if you want to elegantly dance, be sensual or feel like an acrobat or ninja – we offer a big variety of classes so you can choose who you want to be today. You do not need to have any experience in dance, gymnastics or other to start pole dancing.
At our studio you can start with a trial class and then jump right into the first beginner level (Level 0). We follow a professional level system to make sure that you can progress at your own speed and see (and feel) successful after every class. Read below more about the different types of classes we offer and be ready to rediscover yourself in a new way. Do not forget that progress looks different for everyone, we encourage students to not rush through the levels, but take their time and more focus on finding their favorite style of moving.
Not sure which level you are? Simply reach out to us via whatsapp, socials or email and we can help you!
Open Flow • During open flow (pole or pole & aerial) you can come to the studio and practice on your own. The instructor that is present can spot you if needed.

POLE DANCE •
Beginner Classes
After your trial class you can directly attend your first level 0 class. Here you will learn the most important fundamentals of pole, from basic pole walks all the way to the basic moves, spins and poses. Every class we finish with a little choreography or combo. You will have a chance to get to know static and spinning pole.
Level 0 • Our Level 0 class is our first beginner class. You can join without any prior knowledge. Here you will explore your first shapes and moves on the pole. Our Instructors will guide you towards climbing the pole and you will get your first experiences of spinning pole and going upside down without actually inverting.
Level 1 • After you mastered level 0 you can start attending level 1 classes. Here you will work actively towards inverting on the pole (going upside down), your first more strength-based upside down moves, as well as longer and more challenging versions of the moves you learned in level 0. You will already notice more confidence, strength and flexibility while you explore the world of laybacks, inverted Ts and beautiful spins.
POLE DANCE • Intermediate Classes
Once you can confidently invert and feel solid in your different climbs, as well as the basic moves and spins, you can move onto the intermediate classes (level 2-3).
Level 2 • In our level 2 class we will spend significant more time upside down on the pole, but also develop more challenging, longer combinations and choreos on static and/or spinning. Here we start to really focus on perfecting our moves, learning new grips and gain the strength to flow between them. You would be suprised but even a climb can become challenging again! Expect to fall in love with butterflies, leg hang transitions and brass monkeys.
Level 3 • After you mastered the upright and inverted moves, transitions and combinations of level 2 you can start joining our last intermediate class. Be ready for more variety of entries into moves, your first flips and bringing more moves from the floor into the air. Here we will start to use the height of our poles fully, as well as remove more contact points during moves. This class gives you the chance to explore your own versions of poses and tricks even further. Get ready for ballerinas, supermans and your first ayesha.
Level 4 • Level 4 is our advanced class, here you will work on different handsprings, ayesha variations, flags, dragons tail, russian splits and more – but most importantly you will be challenged with long combinations and choreos on static or spinning. Now it is time to truly use everything we learned and create our own movement art from it.

POLE FLOW
Our pole flow classes give you a litte bit more extra. Whether you want to do longer choreos, explore the world of heels or work on your flow technique and style – flow is all about that. Next to regular guest workshops we want to make sure you can get inspired throughtout the week. Unless specified, these classes are usually open level.
Choreo • In our Choreo classes you will learn a longer choreo over 4 weeks – here we include more floorwork, low flow and musicality. Please bring kneepads to save your knees during this class.
Heels • In our Heels classes you get to explore something completely unique, here we will not just stand tall on heels, but truly explore edgework, pointework and heelwork. Now our heels become our apparatus next to the pole.
Technique • During our flow technique classes you will work more with promptwork, as well as being intentional with how we move. Here we will blur the line between trick and transition.

"Somewhere between movement and stillness, there is a space to rest. A home within your body, a quiet place to land.
This workshop explores low flow and grounded movement, drawing inspiration from the way creatures build, burrow, and retreat to spaces of safety. We’ll focus on fluid sequences weaving floorwork, static basework, and slow spins, using soft strength to create a movement language that is both protective and expansive.
We’ll fold into ourselves and unfold again - moving like something soft but unshaken. We’ll play with weight shifts, drags, curls, and slow unravelings, finding ways to move that feel instinctual, intuitive, and personal. This is a practice in listening to your body and to the silence between shapes. A reminder that strength doesn’t always look like power; sometimes it looks like being held, being close, knowing when to stay and when to let go.
Level: All levels.
Please bring overknee socks for extra comfort and support."

contemPOLE workshop alert! ✨
As you know on the 8./9.02 we have a teacher training going on with the amazing @annacross__ 🥺❤️ (Fun fact, I did my L3+4 teacher training with her too!!) - not only will she share her expertise BUT she also wants to give you all the opportunity to learn a contemporary pole dance choreo with her.
In this 1.5hr long workshop you will blend contemporary dance with pole, focusing on fluid movement and low-flow transitions to create a seamless, expressive routine. Anna will teach you the choreography step by step, breaking down each movement for a smooth and connected flow.
You should have basic pole experience and be familiar with fundamental spins. 🌀
