STUDIO ETIQUETTE
COMMUNITY
One of the big things that pole, aerial and yoga gives us is community. A place where we all come together sharing our passions and interests. Especially in the beginning during your first classes you might feel vulnerable and nervous, so we ask everyone to always remain kind and respectful to anyone in our classes or at the studio. Our goal is to offer a safe and inclusive space for all individuals regardless of age, body type, or gender, to be able to explore their own movement and bodies beyond everyday limitations.
We have an absolute zero tolerance regarding body shaming, discriminations, bullying and other unkind behavior. We have an open door policy so please feel free to talk to any one of us, or e-mail hello@wildwavystudio.com if you are aware of any incident that is not encouraging a shame-free environment. Please note that the studio reserves the right to revoke studio access in case of disrespectful behavior.
SAFETY
During our classes it might be that for some moves our Instructors will have to spot you. Please be ensured that they will always ask for consent before physically touching you. Feel free to let them know if you do not want physical spotting so they can offer an alternative.
At our studio some of our classes follow a level design so you can safely progress in your journey. We want to remind you that the point is not to rush through the levels, but to create a healthy learning environment where you can go at your own literal flow.
All of our instructors went through teacher trainings to learn how to design a class, proper warm up techniques, safe spotting for their area of expertise and more. We regularly revise these topics in our teacher meetings. Please be assured that we want to offer you the most safe guidance we can!
For your physical safety and the safety of our equipment, please remove jewelry, especially rings, before attending your class.
VIDEOS & PICTURES
We know that you want to take pictures and videos from the things you learned in class – and we love it when you share them with us! But please ask the instructor and other students before for consent. Not everyone wants to be filmed without them knowing or wants to be published online. The same rule applies to instructors, we will never take and/or publish pictures or videos of you without asking first for permission!
ARRIVE ON TIME
We kindly ask that you show up 10-15 minutes early before your class. This will allow for enough time to sign in, prepare yourself for class, and guarantee that you do not miss the opportunity to take class if doors are locked once class is in progress.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please plan to show up 10 minutes early in order to be signed in and prepared for class. Doors will remain locked once classes are in progress. If you arrive after the class has started you will be unable to join at this time. This is for your safety, as well as the instructors’ and other students, as a proper warm-up is the most important part of class. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information regarding late cancelation/no show fees.
ALL STUDENTS AGREE TO:
- be 16+ for regular classes, clients under the age of 18 will need to proof parental consent and signature

- allow the instructor to do the teaching – tips that helped you to nail a specific move are more than welcome, but instructing or spotting other students in learning new moves is prohibited
