a beginner friendly workshop in visual storytelling.

If you know us you know we love a good video edit to further our art. And you asked how to do it, so let me teach you. 💌

learn how to use video editing [on mobile] as a form of digital expression. you will be guided through all the essential editing steps, tools and practice how to transform your footage into visual feelings. you can get a recording of the workshop if requested. please bring a phone and something to take notes with. we will send you download instructions for the editing software beforehand, but you can also download it at the venue.

We are approaching the last week of regular classes before the christmas break, but don’t worry we have a few open flows and special events for you! If you are in our WA group or have the newsletter, you already heard about them first. This time of the year can feel sometimes quite lonely and not everyone is celebrating so we have the following get together moments for youuu:

• 20.12 @16:00: *WINTER POTLUCK & CRAFT HANGOUT*

We will drink some mulled wine (alcoholfree), eat some snacks, and make some movement inspired christmas ornaments. This is a potluck so bring a snack, take a snack and make a snack (aka art). ❤️

• ⁠27.12 @19:00: *THEMED POLE JAM - STRIPTEASE*

If you’re still around during the holiday period, come and jam! This will be our FIRST POLE JAM woohoooooo. We plan to do one every month from now on :) ONLY for people who are members and are planning to dance, no free show for others <3

This month’s theme is STRIPTEASE. We will put together a playlist on arrival and then put it on shuffle. You will get a random song and try to striptease to it. Don’t wanna striptease? That’s totally fine, it’s just a prompt, you can dance or move in whichever way you want. There will be some snack, but also please bring some food so we can all munch together throughout the event. Grab your chance for some exposure therapy in a safe and warm environment!

As always we have a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY for any form of discrimination or negative energy. Can’t wait to see all your lovely faces there!

Just like any small business we have to deal with an ever-changing world which includes rent increases and higher daily operation costs, so we needed to change our price model instead of sacrificing any of our quality.

Our pricing does not just cover a spot in class - it includes a full immersive experience from the moment you step inside, to your classes being taught by certified instructors, complimentary towels, premium equipment and even our beloved little details like free candy and hot beverages. We also very proudly give out scholarships to movers with limited financial resources to support them in their movement journey.

All of these things are key to wild wavy studio, because we want to give you the best of the best. We believe in paying our instructors fairly for the art they are creating as well as building a committed long-term relationship with our members so they can truly feel like they have a second home with us.

In that spirit our new price model does NOT apply to our current members, you will only see a partial increase from January 2026 onwards to cover inflation and/or rent increases based on if you are an OG member or joined us pre-nov 2025. ❤️‍🔥

I was kind of waiting to post about this showcase because I know it would get very emotional - so stay with me…🤎

In may we welcomed ECHOES OF THE OCEAN to wildwavy - our first showcase to celebrate ourselves. It was the biggest event that we had so far - with so many people that the studio was PACKED. We had the most AMAZING performances and everyone’s voice was gone the next day. It was truly beautiful and for me personally it is still hard to grasp that somehow I got so lucky to be surrounded everyday with so many interesting and special souls. It was very scary opening this studio because I had no idea if it would be as successful as my first one, especially because now I did it fully alone and it was catering to so much more. Well not fully alone, because you were all there since day 0 rooting for this space. <3 And you trusted me to provide it so it could flourish into what it is today thanks to you. And we are still at the beginning!!!

Wild Wavy turned 1 at the end of summer and there was no big announcement yet because I was honestly quite overwhelmed with it. Owning a business at such a young age, in a country that is not even your own, non-native languages and carrying so much responsibility is not for the weak and it is a challenge everyday. But seeing all of you in class being so happy and growing so much truly shows me that I would not want to trade it with anything else in the world. So thank you so much for being here. You are supporting not only a small one-person business but you are also supporting everyone around you that you see in class. You are all the reason while everyone can enjoy themselves, feels seen and safe every class. And that is so valuable in today’s world where there is so much expected of us everyday. But here you don’t have to, you can literally just be. So again thank you so much, even if you only follow the instagram page or you only went to one trial class and don’t even attend classes at the studio, just you even thinking about the studio means a lot.

* do not wear any jewellery like rings etc since they can scratch you or the equipment
* be on time! else you can not join the class anymore (even if it is “just” 5 minutes, you can not miss any part of the warmup)
* do not come sick to class
* do not use any body lotion or hand cream before the class (ideally 24hrs before)

“The idea is to bring your clothes and shoes that you don’t resonate with anymore, maybe someone’s will pick it up and give it a second life! And of course you walk around yourself and see if anything sparks your joy🥰✨

At the end, everything that didn’t find a new home and so stays behind, I’ll bring to a give away point for low income households and this way everyone gets beautiful and free clothing.

So excited and grateful to be able to give something back, like they used to give me. So I hope to see you this Saturday to give and take.

did you know that we offer OPEN FLOWS aka time to train on your own? During our open practice (pole or pole & aerial) you can come to the studio and practice whatever you want. The instructor that is present can spot you if needed and also any questions that might come up. It is a great way to add your own style to whatever you learned in class, repeat things you might not feel secure enough in or get inspired by/with the other movers. Some of you come to crochet and yap with us, some come for a coffee or you genuinely come and train. And sometimes we all end up together in a spinning chaos. Either way it is an easy way to hang out, make friends, work out and work in. We cant wait to see you! 🫶

We have open flows nearly everyday, always check the schedule for the next one! If you have a membership they are included for free, make sure you choose the open flow pass during checkout. 🤍✨

You can cancel for free 24hrs in advance on eversports (under bookings), and you will get your credit back to use on any other class. Within 24hrs there are no refunds possible anymore, but there are still people on the waiting list, so you can still free up your spot the same way. Please do so, so another mover gets the chance at the class. Thank you!!🤍
